HERRIN, Ill. (WJPF) – A man has been arrested for Arson following a house fire in Herrin.
On the evening of September 4th emergency crews were dispatched to the 1000 block of North 11th Street for a reported house fire.
Upon arrival, officers located a male subject in the backyard of the residence. Through the course of the investigation, it was determined that the individual, identified as Brian Siebert, was responsible for starting the fire.
Siebert was charged with Arson, Burglary, Possession of Burglary Tools, and Criminal Damage to Property.
