On September 25, 2025, Williamson County Sheriff’s Office Deputies executed a search warrant at 806 Morningside Drive, Marion, Illinois.
Investigators with the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit investigated the sale of illegal drugs being sold directly from the home and that on at least one occasion a resident sold a large quantity of drugs to an undercover law enforcement officer at the location.
“This illegal drug activity occurred within 1000 feet of an elementary school and nearby one of our busiest community parks. Not only does it create a safety concern for our children but it undermines the value of recovery homes that serve a community and support those who truly desire to rid their lives of addiction”, stated Sheriff Jeff Diederich.
During the search of the residence Deputies recovered a distribution amount of Methamphetamine as well as Controlled Substances, Digital Scales, Drug Packaging Materials, Hypodermic Syringes, and Drug Paraphernalia.
As a result of this operation Gordon L. Yearian was taken into custody, transported to and remanded into the custody of the Williamson County Jail.
