CARTERVILLE — John A Logan Basketball moved up in the rankings yesterday, they’re now ranked 14th nationally in the weekly NJCAA rankings. Last week they were ranked 19th in the country. They’ve won their past 12 games and are 16-4 on the year. The Volunteers are at Lewis & Clark this Wednesday before going to #11 Vincennes on Saturday. Both games can be heard on 103.5 ESPN.
The Vols also announced Mario McKinney, Jr. has enrolled at school. McKinney, a 6’2 guard, most recently was at Mizzou but left the program on January 14th after a brief suspension. McKinney averaged 2.6 points in 7 career appearances for the Tigers.
