Schubert 2nd and Beethoven Violin Concerto

The Southern Illinois Music Festival Orchestra presents its final orchestral concert of the season in the Carterville High School Auditorium. The featured work is Beethoven’s monumental Violin Concerto, with Amelia Korbitz as soloist. The concert opens with a Concerto for Two Flutes by Cimarosa, and Franz Schubert’s tuneful 2nd Symphony. Tickets are available at the door: $25 general and $10 for students of any age, payable by cash, check or card.
