Monday afternoon, two Logan Softball players announced commitments to four-year universities.
Infielder and former Carterville Lion Abbey Crain is headed to Eastern Illinois to play for the Panthers. Crain is batting .331 this season with two triples and a home run, as well as 24 stolen bases. In her three year of her career at Logan, Crain has a career line of .335/.385/.386. She’s stolen a total of 71 bases.
Infielder and former Pope County Pirate Emma Collier committed to Division II Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi. Collier is averaging .323. Her career line at Logan in two years is .339/.401/.453.
